Just completed a workshop for 3M 2-Layer system, originally intended for wound ulcer, to trial use for Lymphoedema.  Different from conventional Multilayer bandaging (Comprilan). To watch video click here

Surgery for Lymphoedema

LympheDivas armsleeves so Different, Australia

I was in USA recently for a Klose conference (next update) and tagged on a visit to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Their therapists were so generous in sharing information such as this. Apparently, LympheDivas (USA) armsleeves are compression garments but with such vivid designs.

HBF higher rebates for lymphoedema

Good news! As of 1 August 2011, HBF has introduced higher benefits (I believe currently up to 3 sessions per calender year) for lymphoedema management, only if seen by approved specialised physiotherapist.
So providers who are interested, get your specialised advanced training and accreditation with National Lymphoedema Practitioners Register
