Linda Khong - Academic Pursuits

To challenge herself, Linda commenced her PhD in 2013. She received the Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) scholarship from The University of Notre Dame Australia for undertaking the research doctorate. In addition to the above, she was awarded a joint-scholarship with the Australian Government’s Collaborative Research Networks (CRN) program where her doctoral research study looked extensively into engaging people in older adults' healthy ageing.

In her continuing endeavour to excel and in spite of the heavy PhD schedule, Linda signed up for the inaugural Australian-French 24-hour Entrepreneurship Challenge, held from 2-3 June 2016. This challenge was opened to all doctoral candidates in Australia and was organised by the Australian Academy of Science and supported by the French Embassy in Australia; and the Australian and French business communities. Her team emerged the winner in which part of the prize was a sponsor of a two-week study tour to France where they visited top biomedical innovation research incubators and start-ups.

Findings from Linda's research have now been published and a list of these together with conference presentations are available for your perusal below.
