How much is an appointment?
Posted on June 19, 2019
Your appointment should be covered under the Physiotherapy benefit if private health insurance is applicable. The clinic offers HICAPS claim on-site. However, depending on your level of private health cover, there will likely be an out of pocket expense for lymphoedema treatments
In addition, depending on your level of cover, private health insurance cover is variable for medical appliances or aids such as Compression Stockings. Please call your private health insurance fund for more information. Medicare does not cover for compression stockings currently.

Our clinician will take your medical history to assess and most importantly, to understand your concern so do feel free to share your journey. During the first appointment with you, she will review any previous or existing appliances e.g. stockings you have used. Importantly, she will also address your concerns and recommend a plan tailored to your needs and preferences.
Please do bring along your partner or other person for the session if you wish.
